Sarah Chewning has been teaching at Chestatee for sixteen years and she has a total of 22 years in education. She is currently teaching second grade. She has taught in Kindergarten, First, Second, and Third grades. She graduated from Forsyth County High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Georgia State University. She then obtained a teaching certificate and a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Brenau University. Later, she received a Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She loves teaching second grade at the "T". |

Theresa Hall |

|
This will be Mrs. Hall's 18th year teaching. It is her 10th year teaching at Chestatee. Mrs. Hall received her bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University. Go Mountaineers! She also has her gifted endorsement. She previously taught kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. Mrs. Hall is very excited to teach 2nd grade again this school year! She loves teaching and partnering with families at Chestatee! |

Bonnie Lee |

|
Bonnie Lee is excited about returning to second grade for the 2024-2025 school year. She received her bachelor's degree from University of South Alabama and her masters' degree from Grand Canyon University. Her two children attended Chestatee and are graduates of Forsyth County schools. Mrs. Lee lives on Lake Lanier with her husband (who she met in Second grade) and loves to boat, paddle board, and play on the lake. She is looking forward to a fabulous school year! |

Ashley Loftus |

Mrs. Loftus is entering her thirteenth year of her teaching career and her tenth year at the "T". This will be her seventh year teaching second grade. Before that, she taught third grade and kindergarten. She attended Piedmont College, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Since graduating from Piedmont, Mrs. Loftus has obtained her math endorsement. Mrs. Loftus is excited about the 2024-2025 school year! |

Holly Mullinax |

This will be Mrs. Mullinax's 13th year at Chestatee and her 17th year teaching. Mrs. Mullinax graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Early Childhood Education, specializing in K-2 and a Math endorsement. She has taught 2nd grade for her whole career. She loves building relationships with her students. She is very excited to continue as a 2nd grade teacher for the 2024-2025 school year! |

Lynne Tatum is in her 13th year at Chestatee Elementary. This year begins her 22nd year in education. She has taught first and second grades. She received her Undergraduate Degree in Elementary Education from LaGrange College and her Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Troy University. Mrs. Tatum has her Gifted Endorsement. She loves teaching and making learning fun and exciting! She is excited for a great 2024-2025 school year! |

Martha Corinn Thompson |

Martha Corinn Thompson is excited to be a part of Chestatee Elementary and One East family. She is a graduate from Mercer University where she obtained a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education with a reading endorsement. Before attending Mercer, she went through Forsyth County Schools graduating from North Forsyth. She loves this community and is excited to serve it in this capacity-- as a second grade teacher at Chestatee. She can't wait for the 2024-2025 school year! |
